Mission
Our Mission is to collectively use the generous resources of many to ensure the further education of those blessed with knowledge, but burdened with need. In addition, we strive to unite all railroads / railroad crafts throughout the Midwest in a valiant effort to give of their time and resources, so the future of our children will be bright and productive.
Foundation Profile
The Midwest Rail Craft Scholarship Foundation (MWRCSF) is incorporated in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. Over the past several years, this organization has sponsored golf tournaments in Kansas City, Missouri, and Lincoln, Nebraska, along with collecting donations to award scholarships to gifted children of rail industry employees.
2022 marked an extraordinary era for the MWRCSF: 25 years of devoted rail workers organizing, and fundraising, to assist their fellow Brother’s and Sister’s children to further their education. Sixty-six golfers took to the course for the Foundation’s silver anniversary tournament, raising funds to award $9,500 in scholarships throughout the Midwest.
Our vision for the future continues to increase involvement and participation to elevate the financial support toward the higher education of these talented young individuals.
